Ha! Mr. Rogers was the first thing that came to my wife's mind when I gave her the topic. Gomer in a sweater (nice job on the caricature and texture of the garment, by the way) I don't think ever occurred to her, or me. Cool.
To answer your question, I must have posted between 11:55 and midnight. I suspect the post time on the blog is being recorded from a different time zone. I would have been a few minutes earlier if my oldest daughter's wireless connection hadn't gone belly-up. I literally did start the whole thing at about 10:00pm Thu.
BTW - I did do one other scroller at http://idiothead.blogspot.com/2006/12/peace-illustration-friday.html

Hah! Am I too old if I remember both Mr. Rogers AND Jim Nabors?
Nice likeness.
My first reaction was 'that doesn't look like Mr. Rogers'. And, then it hit me. LOL!
Now, where are the puppets in the Land of MayBerry.
Great job!
P.S. Betcha didn't think you'd beat me posting this week!
Nice work, and just under the wire!
