This is really cool. I count eight chameleons.
While trying to come up with this weeks illo, I gave thought to using chameleons. All I could think of was the old Looney Toons cartoon where the chameleon successfully changes color against the solid colors, but has a total break-down against a checker background.
You did a beautiful job of rendering the chameleons as well as the plant life. This is among my favorites of yours.
Cool chameleons and great depth to the image.
