Run

The very first thing that popped into my mind for "run" was the key-style lettering for RUN Magazine, which refers directly to the Commodore 64. I tried a few other concept sketches for "run", including a full schedule of running, a race to the restroom (double meaning for 'run' -probably for the best I didn't go there) and a run in a stocking. But inevitably came back to the good 'ol 64 and the command that got everything going.... though usually needing a lot of debugging. /:-P

Of course! RUN magazine. I probably have a box full of old copies (what else would they be?) in my garage. You did a great job re-creating the old Commodore C= screen. I was at first convinced you just did a camera shot of the real-deal. The only clues I can see that indicate otherwise is the line after the RUN command nees a space between 1TO and I believe there should be a LIST command for the program to display. If I am not mistaken, Microsoft wrote the BASIC language used for the C-64 and almost every other micro-computer of the day.
Isn't it interesting that we both used the half-tone filter for this week's entry. Again, fabulous illo.

I noticed the spacing error after everything was done, posted and enterred into the IF list. Too late! As for the LIST command... I did have that, but then realized that there would be nothing to list if we are looking at the boot screen. So the assumption here is that the program has just been typed in for the first time. Keen eye, though! :-)
