For some reason I have always really liked illuminated windows, and the notion that you can see just a little bit of what's on the other side. Love it!

Like many of you other artists, I tend to be my own harshest critic. I am blown away by the response to this piece ;-) ... I liked it when I got done, but never thought it was THAT good. You all have boosted my confidence quite a bit this week. **humble bow**

You're comment on "drama" got me thinking and I may need to make one small addition some day. It won't be intrusive to the current version, but could enhance that drama quite a bit. Thanks for the idea you don't know you gave me!

Thanks, puns and elegant is sometimes difficult to pull off. I'd done mostly cartoon illos to this point and needed to step out for a moment into something deeper.

LOL! I just knew after I saw your comment on that other illo that I may have worded it poorly! I DO appreciate a good color pallet. Really. (I wish I could remeber which post that was on... I've looked at over 500 this week like many of you out there!)

I can't belive you had ANYTHING negative to say about your illo! If it could have been better than it is, I'm having trouble imagining it. Glad you put all that work into the characters! And I'm very honored that I could be an inspiration to you and others.
